The Hangover 3- The Next Carbon Copy in this “Classic” Saga?
Yesterday, the official Hangover III trailer was released–grabbing the entire viral world’s attention. And while The Hangover 2 made most movie goers and Hangover enthusiasts feeling as thought they’d just woken up and been hit by a ton of bricks, and regretting the ‘bad decisions’ of seeing it–as they made their ‘walk-of-shame’ out of the movie theater…yeah, it was that bad. But, then again, it’s hard to live up to the original masterpiece that is The Hangover–there were still some laugh-until-your-stomach-hurts moments, but still, it wasn’t even the same category as the first. Most walked away feeling as though the original script was just re-opened, and somethings were changed around-including location-but for the most part everything felt the same–especially the lines; those really felt forced.
Well, now the cast and Todd Phillips have a chance to redeem themselves. And if the trailer is any indication of what’s to come, we’re going to be in for quite the comeback in what will be the final chapter to this incredible, innovative comedy!
Here’s 10 things we’ve gathered so far from watching the trailer (about a million times. Yes, it looks that good!) –
1.) The movie opens up with Alan (Zach Galifianakis) singing (incredible) soprano(no not the tv show) at a funeral that Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Stu (Ed Helms) are attending.
2.) They have to go back to Vegas.
3.) No sightings of Doug (Justin Bartha) in the trailer. He may have the same style role that he’s been playing in the last two Hangovers.
4.) All the originals from the first one will be in it- Ken Jeong (Mr. Chow), Heather Graham (Jade- The stripper Stu marries in The Hangover), Mike Epps (Black Doug), and Mike Tyson as himself!
5.) Some new cameos- John Goodman, and Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) is rumored to be in the movie, too.
6.) Alan is being chased by men wearing Pig face-masks.
7.) John Goodman shoots someone.
8.) They get stranded in the dessert again.
9.) There looks to be a jail rioting scene.
10.) Finally…expect this one to be just as epic as the first!
