Well, Halloween is upon us once again, dear readers. That time of year when it’s socially acceptable to eat the entire bag of Halloween candy you “bought for the trick-or-treaters”, take pumpkin pie shots until you’re sick, and to get your cleavage out on the open road and see how she handles! However if you are not planning to cover yourself in feathers and taffeta and then vomit into a jack-o-lantern, like I am, you may be looking for some alternate entertainment on All Hallow’s Eve. So I’ve compiled a list of the creepiest TV shows to watch on Halloween. Now you can snuggle up on your couch and participate in the scary joys of Halloween without getting frostbite on your upper thighs.

- The Walking Dead: This is an excellent show about a zombie apocalypse and you will be sufficiently creeped out. The scare factor will be increased tenfold by the parallels drawn when you look out your window at 3am and see all the drunks staggering home. “BEEEEER.”
- Sixteen and Pregnant: Honestly, I think this is the scariest show on television. I scream and hide my face in my hands every time they pull those wrinkly raisin babies out from between the teen mom’s legs. I know it’s coming but it gets me every time. I also find all the responsibility that is about to be placed on these clueless adolescents quite chilling.
- True Blood: Vampires, blood, werewolves, sex, drugs, fairies, partial nudity. All of these things will be happening on the street but by watching Anna Paquin doing it instead you can avoid the risk of getting chlamydia.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: More vampires and supernatural whatnots. However I think the scariest part of this show is how shoddy special effects used to be. And how I’m weirdly attracted to Giles…
- Pretty Little Liars: The teacher student relationship between Aria and Mr. Fitz is so creepy. I will never be okay with that. I don’t care if they’re close in age, it’s disgusting.
