Johnny Depp Now Publishes Books?
Publish Me Mr. Depp!

What do Johnny Depp and books have in common? Many people might think this fabulous actor has nothing to do with books; “he’s just an actor,” they might say. The correct answer is quite a bit actually! Numerous of his movies have been based on books; What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Sleepy Hollow, Chocolat, and more were actually books that were made into great movies starring this darling of the strange. Because, you must admit it, most of his movies are amazingly and wonderfully strange. One of my new favorite YouTube vloggers (video bloggers), grav3yardgirl is totally in love with Mr. Depp, as am I. But, really, who wouldn’t love a person who can play a pirate, a mad hatter, a vampire, and a semi-not-strange Grape?
While Johnny Depp’s best role (for me) was as the swashbuckling, dirty-sexy pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, his new role as a publisher tickles my literary bone. That is correct, you read publisher! Johnny Depp’s production company is collaborating with Harper, a division of HarperCollins, to create an eponymous publishing imprint called Infinitum Nihil. I believe that translates loosely to Infinite Nothing. Johnny Depp is amazing, and I cannot wait to see what he does next, be it his first book, or his next crazy-strange movie.
