Text Walking Lanes Are A Real Thing
Antwerp in Belgium just introduced text walking lanes for phone addicts. Yes, seriously.
Cellphone repair shop MLab installed the Text Walking Lanes in Belgium to prevent distracted pedestrians from bumping into eachother.
Belgium isn’t the first ones to hop on this trend. China’s first cellphone lane was introduced in Chongqing, China in September 2014.
But the original trendsetters are National Geographic in Washington DC, who first painted a texting sidewalk lane for their TV series on behavioral science called Mind Over Masses
